You get into GRRRLHOOD with a referral code (GRRRL-XXXX) from a woman already inside. No code, no entry — there's no other way in.

And the code carries real weight: if someone you invited is banned for breaking the rules, the woman whose code let her in is banned too. You vouch for who you bring, so people only invite women they'd genuinely stand behind.

Yes — women, only women. That's the whole point of the space, and the invite-only door is how it stays that way.

On a few fronts at once. Nothing said or shared in a community can be screenshotted, screen-recorded, or downloaded — the content simply can't be lifted out of the app that way.

On top of that we run a detailed reporting system: reports are reviewed and analysed, and a moderation team steps in to act wherever a situation genuinely calls for it.

No conversation or content in a chat or community can be screenshotted or screen-recorded — the app blocks the capture, so nothing gets quietly grabbed and pasted elsewhere. Photos and videos can't be downloaded or saved out either.

Nothing can stop someone photographing a screen with a second phone, so treat any room as human, not airtight — but every easy way for something to leak is closed.

Private circles are private to their members — the team doesn't browse them for fun or scroll your conversations. What we can see is content that a member reports: that specific message or post is surfaced for a safety review, with the real author attached even if it was posted anonymously.

Yes. You can share a post to the feed anonymously, reply anonymously, and send anonymous messages — your name and photo are hidden from everyone else in the room.

One honest caveat: anonymous means anonymous to other members, not to moderation. Behind the scenes the real author stays attached to abuse handling, so anonymity can't be used as a shield to hurt someone.

You decide, per thing. Your profile can be public, close-circle only, or private. Each post picks its own audience — everyone, only your matches, or your close circle — and you can make it disappear after 1–24 hours instead of staying up.

Your 1-to-1 chats are between you and the person you matched with. They're screenshot-protected like the rest of the app, and you can unmatch at any time, which deletes the conversation for both sides.

Yes — and they're off by default. Activity status (online / typing), read receipts, and last-seen are each your choice to share. Leave them off and you stay invisible; turn one on and it's reciprocal.

Yes. You can unmatch anyone — it removes the connection and deletes the chat for both of you, no notice, no drama. And a match only exists once both sides accept a request in the first place, so no one lands in your inbox uninvited.

Once a week we bring you up to five women walking a chapter like yours, ranked by what you actually share — the same life phase first, then the specific situation within it, your city and country, and (if you're moving abroad) the new language you'll both be learning. No swiping, no endless scroll.

Both. Blocking removes someone from your world entirely. Reporting flags a profile, post or message to our team to review and act on. You never have to just put up with it.

Your invite is your own GRRRL ID — a personal code you share with women you trust and want beside you. They enter it to join, and it's how the community grows by vouching rather than by ads.

Yes — and that's the point. When you hand out your code, you're vouching for her. If someone you invited is banned for breaking the rules, your access goes with hers: the code-giver is banned alongside a removed invitee.

Yes, anytime, from Settings. You can export everything we hold about you, and you can permanently delete your account — profile, connections and personal data — for good.
